 <note>RINGKASAN&#13;
Telah dilakukan penelitian uji aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak etanol daun alamanda (Allamanda cathartica L.) terhadap bakteri Shigella dysenteriae ATCC 13313. Ekstraksi dilakukan dengan metode maserasi dari 500 gram sampel daun alamanda diperoleh ekstrak kental sebanyak 14,07 gram, dengan rendemennya sebanyak 2,81% (b/b). Uji aktivitas antibakteri dilakukan menggunakan metode difusi agar dengan tiga konsentrasi yaitu 10%, 30%, dan 50%. Hasil uji aktivitas antibakteri ekstrak daun alamanda (Allamanda cathartica L.) menunjukan diameter hambat dengan rata-rata terbesar yaitu 15,9 mm yang termasuk kategori hambat kuat (10-20 mm) terhadap bakteri Shigella dysenteriare ATCC 13313.&#13;
